We would like to invite you to attend a presentation/assembly geared for parents on Thursday November 1st at 6:30 PM in Goodrich Auditorium – 423 N. Chestnut. The presentation will be high-impact, fast-paced, and evidenced-based. The presentation is designed to guide adults from awareness to action. The presentation will work to expose student vulnerabilities to depression, suicide ideation, cyberbullying, loneliness, sexting, sextortion, pornography, and sex trafficking via the Internet and social media. This presentation will be for parents/guardians only. We ask that you do not bring your children to this meeting. On Friday November 2nd the school district will offer age-appropriate presentations to students in grades 3-12 at various times throughout the school day. After the presentations would be an opportune time to continue to have awareness conversations with your students regarding the information presented. If you are unable to attend on November 1st, I encourage you to visit www.stoptraffickingproject.com to review the information and/or watch the informative videos that are available on the website. Click here for the flier that is available in the front office. By working together, we can make a difference in the lives of all students through awareness, education, and prevention. If you should have questions or concerns, please contact the respective school office of your student. Thank you! From Mr. Hess: Honor Choir will not be starting this month as originally planned.
