If there’s a tie breaker, there will be a tug-of-war!! We are so excited! It costs $1 to watch all week. Teams of 6 players cost $6...and participants watch for free!!! All proceeds go to the Lead program. The Spring Fling is NEXT Friday, April 12 from 5-7 pm! It costs $5 to enter. Students can play games, dance, hang out, etc. Drop-off and pick-up will be at the front of CVMS. Food and drinks will be sold separately. Sorry, no outside food/drinks. Now that winter is (maybe) over, it is important to be prepared for possible severe weather this spring. Students and staff did a great job on this drill. Third Quarter ends on Tuesday, March 12. On Monday, February 25, CVMS had Family Time. This is a class that was created this year. Currently, the purpose is for students from each grade level to meet together to create opportunities to build relationships across multiple grades. This semester’s theme is Random Acts of Kindness. Reminder: Students are not permitted to change buses unless it is a permanent change. Several years ago this expectation was set into place due to safety and overcrowding issues. Author Antony John was at CVMS today. He presented to the students about his journey to become an author. Pictures were posted yesterday. The 7 Habits Team is a leadership opportunity at CVMS. The role of these students are to share how CVMS applies the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens within our school, community, and lives. As a partner with the FranklinCovey Foundation, CVMS staff receives trainings and students receive direct instruction. The kids even go to school...ON THEIR SNOW DAY!!!!
