Please contact us if you have concerns. [email protected] [email protected] 2018 has come to a close. As you reflect on the year, I challenge you to identify two parts of the year that were so great, you will never forget them. Then, share that memory with your child. Ask them to do the same. I wonder...how many memories will match between parent and student?
One of my favorite school memories was the Pearl Harbor Assembly. I love how the kids take ownership of that event and make it better every year. I appreciate the time the staff put into the preparation for the event. It is breathtaking to see the faces of our veterans, active military, and family members as they witness our appreciation. Congratulations to the Patriot’s Pen Essay Contest winners. This year’s topic was “Why I Honor the American Flag”. See below for pictures of the event. The winners are: 6th place: Dakota Terrill 5th place: Valerie Underwood 4th place: Clifton Eckert 3rd place: Alexis Jones 2nd place: Lily Woolery 1st place: Kasidy Wilcox Final 2018 DTV: https://youtu.be/-gU0AXjvEVM Friday is the MAP Celebration. All proceeds go to the Lead program. WINTER BREAK: December 22-January 6 Tomorrow is the Pearl Harbor Day Assembly at 9 am. All are welcome to attend. The breakfast for Veterans will begin at 8 am.
