The “Winter Flinter...Tis’ the Season to be Freezin’” activities night was a success!! We raised almost $800! The kids had a BLAST! Look at the amazing the slideshow below. The Force in Motion assembly will take place on Thursday, February 15. This is a PTSA sponsored event. Thank you, PTSA!! Reminder: School IS in session on February 16 (snow day make-up day from January 11). From Mrs. Leeper: Starting February 6th, the Cameron art department will have a display of k-12 art work at the Cameron Public Library. It will be there for approximately a month. You can also see our students art work at various times at the Cameron YMCA and the Nutrition center. Check out the images of student art work that was selected to represent CVMS at the YAM art fair in Jefferson City! Please remember that CVMS does not send home paper grade cards, as grades can be accessed at your convenience through the PowerSchool app. If you have not signed up for PowerSchool notifications or the app, please contact the front office at 816.882.1041. If you would like to request a paper copy of the grade card, please contact the front office as well. The blood drive scheduled for January 19 has been canceled. We apologize for any inconvenience and will notify you as soon as a new date is set. Thank you for your understanding and patience. PTSA is sponsoring an assembly. It will be on Thursday, February 15. Force in Motion will be here!! We are so excited to have the group present. Thank you, PTSA, for providing this event!! Here are some important dates to add to your calendar: Jan. 15: No School, Martin Luther King Day Feb. 16:SCHOOL IN SESSION (Snow make up day from 1/11/18) Feb. 19: No School, Presidents Day.. March 1: School will dismiss at 12:30, STUDENT LED CONFERENCES (with students/parents/teachers) will be held from 12:30 - 8:30 PM. March 2 - No School and last day to purchase yearbooks. They are on sale now in the office for $30. March 3: End of 3rd quarter 2018 is here!!! What new habits will you form in the upcoming year? CVMS is checking goals off the list goals that are completed and revisiting ones that are still in the works. We are looking forward to growing with you and your student(s).
