See below for our remaining testing schedule. If your child has a planned absence during this time, please contact Counselor McDaniel to make arrangements for testing at [email protected].
As previously sent out, we have incentives for students during testing. Teachers will be handing out tickets for positive attitude, effort, and following directions. Drawings will be held daily at lunch for prizes! We will also have a celebration for students who show positive attitude and effort during testing on Tuesday May 28th. We will have activities outside including kickball, football, volleyball, and hanging out with friends. Each grade level will spend part of their day outside! Additionally, in the Fall, when we return to school, we will have a celebration for students who have worked hard in the classroom all year on their academics and are able to score Proficient or Advanced in each subject area. Once scores are received, students and parents will be notified of student performance and the celebration. 8th Grade Recognition night will be on May 30th at 6:30 pm in the CHS gym. Please click here for details. Finally, The last day of school is Friday, May 31. This will be a half day for students. Grade level assemblies will take place during the following times. If you would like to attend your student’s grade level, please check in at the front office upon arrival.
Friday, May 10, is when Terry DaVolt will be talking to CVMS students. He has an exciting and entertaining presentation planned as he presents on bullying. Because this is a sensitive topic, if you choose for your student to not attend the assembly, please contact the front office at 816.882.1041.
